WTVIRBridge is an unofficial replacement for Hauppauge's WinTV IR software, supporting analog WinTV capture devices (PCI & USB) including the PVR versions (just a hope, there are no warranties!).
There are a number of things that WTVIRBridge can do when a key is pressed:
- Launch a shortcut, starting a media player for example.
- Broadcast a message over the Windows Messaging System.
- Send a message over the built-in WinLIRC-compatible server. This lets you control all WinLIRC-compatible multimedia applications using your WinTV remote.
